Fakes continue: now a Wagner fighter at the Latvian border pillar

Now on the border with Latvia.

Pro-military Telegram channels continue to make and spread fake photos of a man holding a patch with the emblem of PMC Wagner on the borders of one of the EU countries bordering Belarus. Now they’ve chosen Latvia.

A fake and an original photo on the Belarus-Latvia border motolkohelp

They took the original photo from the press release of the Latvian Seimas of 2021. The photo is cropped, and they added a man’s hand, who allegedly stands on the Latvian side and holds a patch with the logo of Wagner in colors of the lukashists’ flag.

This photo, like the previous ones from the Polish and Lithuanian borders, is another fake.
