Aviation activity, movements of the troops by rail and roads in Belarus.

During the week, an Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived in Belarus from Russia.

On December 10-13, helicopters of the 50th Combined Air Base of the Belarusian Air Force were recorded relocating from Machulishchy airfield to Luninets reserve airfield.

During the week, flights of fighters of the Belarusian Air Force were recorded in the southeastern and southern regions of Belarus. Helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force flew to the western border.

Aviation activity

Aviation activity was recorded at Machulishchy, Lida, Baranavichy, Luninets airfields, and at Minsk National Airport. Flights of aircraft and helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force and Russian Aerospace Forces were recorded.

Belarusian Air Force

  • On December 9, an Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force flew from Machulishchy airfield to Kubinka airfield (Russia). On December 10, the aircraft returned to Machulishchy.
  • On December 10, 2 Mi-8 helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force flew from Machulishchy airfield to Luninets airfield. On December 13, the helicopters returned to Machulishchy.
  • On December 11, Mi-8 and Mi-24/35 helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force flew from Machulishchy airfield to the western border of Belarus (via Lida and Ashmiany).
  • On December 12 and 13, flights of fighters of the Belarusian Air Force from Baranavichy airfield were recorded in the southeastern and southern regions of Belarus.
  • On December 14, a Tu-134 passenger aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force flew from Machulishchy airfield to Kubinka airfield and Astrakhan (Russia).

Russian Aerospace Forces

  • On December 12, an Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at Machulishchy airfield from Moscow.

Railroad activity

  • No railroad activity was recorded.

Movements by road

  • Single vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces were recorded on the M10 highway (near Dobrush).
  • Single vehicles and small convoys (up to 10 vehicles) of the Belarusian Armed Forces were spotted in Machulishchy and on some sections of the M1, M3, M9, R23, N9034 and other highways.
