The woman responsible for the transfer of Ukrainian children arrived in Minsk

The International Criminal Court issued a warrant for her arrest in March 2023.

Maria Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Russia, arrived in Minsk. The International Criminal Court issued a warrant for her arrest in March 2023 for the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia and their transfer to Russian families.

Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov has already met with her in Minsk and said that Russia and Belarus “will continue to help the children of Donbas.” According to him, 2250 children from the occupied territories have already visited Belarus since 2021.

It’s also reported that she’s attending a meeting of the commission of the CIS countries’ commissioners for children’s rights.
