Repairs at Machulishchy airfield began after September 10.
On September 28, we reported about the repair of the runway at Machulishchy airfield. Repair works continue now.
On October 5, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus published photos of flights of helicopters of the 50th Combined Air Base. One of them shows construction equipment and servicemen of the Belarusian Armed Forces, who are engaged in the repair of the runway.
Most likely, the work is performed by servicemen of the 83rd Separate Engineering and Airfield Regiment. The task of the unit is the construction, reconstruction and maintenance of military airfields in combat readiness.
We recall that repairs at Machulishchy airfield began after September 10. A section of the runway about 180 meters long is to be replaced.
