A combat readiness inspection of the tank battalion of the 6th Mechanized Brigade ended with comprehensive tactical training with live firing. The unit returned to its permanent deployment point.

International cooperation
On December 19-21, a Belarusian military delegation paid a visit to Vietnam. During the visit, a meeting was held with the head of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations of the Ministry of Defense of Vietnam. The parties discussed the algorithm of building cooperation in the sphere of peacekeeping activities. It was also reported that a bilateral meeting was held with the head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Vietnam.
Combat training
On December 19, a training session on demining was held at the anti-mine center of the Armed Forces. The participants learned how to search for and destroy explosive objects, the design characteristics of ammunition and how to deal with various emergency situations. The servicemen also studied new and promising models of demining equipment.
On December 19, a training “Extinguishing fires in depots” was held at the 61st Fighter Air Base.
Comprehensive tactical training with live firing was conducted in the tank battalion of the 6th Mechanized Brigade. During the training, the servicemen defeated the conventional enemy using ambushes, practised overcoming mines and explosive barriers using trailers and attaching dynamic protection to combat vehicles. UAVs were actively used for reconnaissance. Much attention was paid to combating UAVs, FPV drones and loitering munitions of the conditional enemy. The training was held at the final stage of battalion coordination, after which the units returned to the permanent deployment point. The combat readiness inspection was completed.
A training session on specialties with units of the 120th Mechanized Brigade was held at the 227th combined arms training ground. The servicemen conducted firing exercises using BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, T-72B tanks and small arms.
During the week, a number of military units reported the completion of additional driver training for recruits of the fall conscription.
PMC Wagner
According to satellite images, a decrease in the number of vehicles in the northern part of the camp of PMC Wagner was recorded in November.
The largest reduction of vehicles was also observed during the period from December 13 to December 18. In total, in November-December, the number of vehicles in the camp could have decreased by 30%. The equipment could have been taken back to Russia and handed over to the Russian military.
Internal Troops
On December 22, another training session with servicemen of special units of the Internal Troops, where Wagner mercenaries were instructors, was completed. For four weeks the servicemen were improving their combat training skills. The training session ended with final comprehensive drills.
It was reported on the completion of a three-week training course for cadets of the Faculty of the Internal Troops of the Military Academy, conducted under the guidance of PMC Wagner mercenaries.
Military commissariats
During the week, it was reported that military commissariats conducted trainings on military transportation duties, military registration and reservation of persons liable for military service, as well as trainings with the staffs of notification of persons liable for military service.
Territorial defense
On December 18-22, a training course “Territorial defense” was held at the General Staff Faculty of the Military Academy. The course was attended by chairmen of district and city executive committees. The trainees studied the order of organization and activation of territorial defense.
