The EW troops will receive Russian Krasukha-S4 systems

Special drills for the EW Troops of the Belarusian Armed Forces are scheduled to be held in July 2024.

On January 11, servicemen of Belarusian EW units went to Russia for training with the Krasukha-S4 EW system. It was reported by the Telegram channel of the Western Operational Command.

It was noted that the Belarusian troops will receive the Krasukha-S4 systems in the second half of 2024. Most likely, the equipment will enter service with the 48th Separate EW Battalion (military unit 97061) located in Brest.

The Krasukha-S4 EW system is designed to cover command posts, groups of troops, airfields, air defense facilities and important industrial facilities. The system is capable of radio suppression of radar stations and control channels of UAVs. The range of one Krasukha-S4 system consisting of two vehicles exceeds 300 km.

According to open source, serial production of the systems began in 2011. Since 2013, they have been in service with the Russian Armed Forces.

Earlier, the head of the EW Directorate of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces said that one of the EW units will receive a new jamming station by the end of 2023. By 2025, all EW units of the Belarusian Armed Forces will be re-equipped with equipment operating in ultra-short wave range.

We can also note that special drills for the EW Troops of the Belarusian Armed Forces are scheduled to be held in July 2024.
