The man’s fate is currently unknown.
It became known that a Ukrainian with Belarusian citizenship was arrested in Vaukavysk. The video published in one of the enforcers’ Telegram channels shows five officers of the Hrodna Typhoon special purpose unit in armored vests and balaclavas arresting the man. Deputy Interior Minister Nikolai Karpenkov announced the creation of such a detachment in July 2023.
Lukashenko’s enforcers forced the detainee to record a “repent video” insulting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and admitting that he had published Belarusian national symbols on the Internet.
