This aircraft belongs to the Ministry of Defense of Russia and is equipped with a special SBUS-214 on-board communication unit. According to our information, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Andrei Belousov, is on board this plane.
Tomorrow a regular meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states will take place in Minsk. The Defense Ministers of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have already arrived in Belarus for it. It’s unknown whether the head of the Defense Ministry of Armenia will be expected at this event.
