The Belarusian Air Force are receive at least 4 helicopters.
According to our information, in the morning of September 27, Il-76 of the Belarusian Air Force (EW-004DE) flew from Baranavichy airfield to Kubinka airfield, and further to Rostov-on-Don. The purpose of this flight is unknown, and it hasn’t returned to Belarus yet, but it may be related to the arrival of a new batch of Mi-35M.
We recall that the first batch of 4 Mi-35M arrived from Russia on August 17, and before that, on August 12 and August 16, Il-76 of the Belarusian Air Force flew from Machulishchy to Rostov. It delivered there the receivers of new helicopters and pilots, who then transported them to Belarus. It should be noted that the Rostvertol company, which produces these helicopters, is located in Rostov.
Thus, it’s possible that the current flight of the Il-76 of the Belarusian Air Force to Rostov may be related to the receipt of another batch of Mi-35M. Earlier, it was reported that by the end of 2023, the Belarusian Air Force should receive at least 4 helicopters. In total in 2023-2024, it’s planned to receive a squadron – 12 helicopters.
