They required to dismantle the memorial because “we are at war” (with the Kalinouski Regiment?)
Ukrainian blogger Khrystyna Kafka (Shanovna) said on her TikTok that the monument to Belarusians who were killed during Euromaidan and the war is being destroyed in Kyiv.
She showed photos of how the monument, which was installed on the facade of the college of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design in 2016, looks like now. The Belarusian national coat of arms Pahonia and the inscriptions “Glory to Ukraine!” and “Long live Belarus!” were removed from the memorial.
According to a representative of the college administration, they were required to dismantle the memorial because “we are at war.”
