Military activity on the territory of Belarus on April 29-May 5
Aviation activity, movements of the troops by rail and roads in Belarus.
During the week, flights of helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force continued to be recorded in the area of the western border of Belarus. Activity of the Belarusian military was recorded in Yelsk district, and of the Russian military – in Homiel district.
Aviation activity
- Aviation activity was recorded at Machulishchy, Lida, Baranavichy, and Barautsy airfields. Flights of aircraft and helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force were recorded.
- On April 29, May 1 and 4, flights of helicopters of the 50th Combined Air Base of the Belarusian Air Force were recorded in the area of the western border of Belarus.
Rail activity
- On May 1, a military cargo train with equipment of the 358th Separate Mechanized Battalion of the 120th Mechanized Brigade arrived at Aziaryshcha station (Minsk). The unit returned to the permanent deployment point after field drills.
Movements by road
- Single vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces were spotted in Ziabrauka (Homiel district).
- Small convoys (up to 10 pieces) and single vehicles of the Belarusian Armed Forces were spotted in Minsk, Yelsk district, and on some sections of the М1 highway.
Combat training
Combat training activities with units of the Belarusian Armed Forces were conducted at the Brestski, Uruchcha, Chapialiova, Losvida training grounds, and in some areas (Ashmiany and Pastavy districts).
