More than half of the camp of PMC Wagner in Belarus is dismantled
Fewer mercenaries arrived than expected.
According to Belarusian Hajun, the active dismantling of tents in the camp of PMC Wagner in Tsel village near Asipovichy, which began on July 28, continues.
According to our data, at the beginning of dismantling, the camp had about 292 tents (including those for household needs), and at the moment, more than 160 tents have been dismantled, i.e. 55%.
Since the last satellite images of August 23 were published, more than 60 more tents have been dismantled — the most active period of dismantling was at the end of August.
At the moment, the camp of PMC Wagner has about 130 tents, i.e. 45% of the original number. We recall that at the very beginning, in June, it was claimed that there would be 8000 or even 10,000 mercenaries in Belarus, and therefore the camp was built for 8000 people.
The logical conclusion — “extra” tents of the camp near Asipovichy are being dismantled, as they turned out to be unnecessary, because fewer mercenaries arrived than expected. In addition, some of the mercenaries may be redeployed to barracks, which are located in Tsel village and other locations in the area of Asipovichy.
