A sudden combat readiness inspection was conducted in a railway brigade
The brigade is deployed in Slutsk and is a part of the Transport Troops.
On January 11, the 30th Railway Brigade underwent a sudden combat readiness inspection. This was reported by the brigade’s Telegram channel.
The Department of Transport Support of the Belarusian MoD inspected the skills in deployment of the reception point for personnel and equipment, as well as the process of reception by military railroad personnel.
Note:
- To receive persons liable for military service and distribute them among units, military units deploy personnel reception points.
- The equipment reception point is designed to receive equipment transferred by organizations within the framework of military transport duty (provision of vehicles to the army during mobilization and wartime).
The 30th Railway Brigade (military unit 18662) is deployed in Slutsk and is a part of the Transport Troops. The Brigade includes 4 separate battalions: the 71st Tracks Railway Battalion (military unit 26447), the 77th Bridge Railway Battalion (military unit 14848), the 174th Mechanization Railway Battalion (military unit 46125), and the 259th Mobile Repair Railway Battalion (military unit 51983).
